A Bit About Me
Welcome to The Rewarding Dog Trainer!
My name is Katherine Halfpenny, and I have dedicated my life to working with dogs since I was 15 years old, gaining experience and qualifications at University, Guide Dogs and Medical Detection Dogs, to then building and running my own dog walking and training business.
I have now focused the direction of the business to where my passion lays; training puppies and supporting families on their training journeys. Especially those with Autistic members, ensuring they have the tools they need for success in public access training.
I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with our dogs through fun and science-backed methods, free from force, fear, and pain. Life can be hectic, especially during your pup's first year, but I am here to support you every step of the way.
